EAU Announces New Support Groups

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EAU Adds New Support Groups

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, February 12, 2013 –“No person, trying to take responsibility for her or his identity, should have to be so alone. There must be those among whom we can sit down and weep, and still be counted as warriors.” ― Adrienne Rich

The EAU is pleased to announce the creation of 5 new support groups throughout Utah.

“These new additions to our Support Group offerings will allow people to more closely align with those they consider knowledgeable about what they are going through”, said Annette Maughan, President of the Epilepsy Association of Utah. “We understand that, depending on where a person is in their epilepsy journey, they may feel more comfortable with someone their own age, or with similar interests, and to that end, we have created specific groups to help build a more positive experience in living with epilepsy”.

Meeting various times throughout the month, the new groups are specific enough to encourage more openness, education, interaction and in some cases: more fun! We hope to see you there!
